Northmere is an independent online menswear store, operated by Northmere Holdings LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Florida, United States. For the purposes of data protection law, Northmere Holdings LLC is the data controller responsible for your personal information.

Northmere operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services, in order to provide you, the customer, with a curated shopping experience (the "Services"). Northmere is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you. Please note that we never see or store your full card number. Card details are entered directly into Shopify's encrypted checkout and are processed by the payment provider.

  • Transaction information including the items you view, put in your cart, add to your wishlist, or purchase, return, exchange or cancel, and your past transactions.
  • Communications with us including the information you include in communications with us, for example when sending a customer support inquiry by email or phone.
  • Device information including information about your device, browser, or network connection, your IP address, and other unique identifiers.
  • Usage information including information regarding your interaction with the Services, including how and when you interact with or navigate the Services.

We do not knowingly collect or process any special category data, such as information about your health, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, political opinions, sexual orientation or biometric data. Please do not send us such information.

Security and Retention of Your Information

However, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Any information you send to us may not be secure while in transit. How long we retain your personal information depends on why we collected it. As a general guide:

  • Order and transaction records are kept for as long as required by tax, customs and accounting law, which is typically 7 years from the date of the transaction.
  • Account information is kept for as long as your account remains open. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete it, subject to any records we are legally required to keep.
  • Customer support correspondence is kept for up to 3 years after your query is resolved, so that we can handle any follow up or dispute.
  • Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe or withdraw your consent, after which we retain a minimal record of your objection so we do not contact you again.
  • Website analytics and advertising data is typically retained for up to 26 months.

When we no longer need your personal information, we delete it or irreversibly anonymise it.

Where a request is complex or where we receive several requests from you, we may extend that period as permitted by law, and we will tell you if we do.

In accordance with applicable laws, you may designate an authorised agent to make requests on your behalf. Before accepting a request from an agent, we will require proof that you have authorised them to act for you, and we may need to verify your identity directly with you.
